If you are intersted in organizing a public event on the grounds of the Ché Café. Examples: workshops, activst camps, art exhibits, film screenings, record swap meets, book/zine fairs, etc.
If you are a member of a band looking for a show, you're in the wrong place. If you email the address that is provided below regarding your band or a show you want, you WILL NOT get booked, and your email will be thrown away.
In order for a public event to take place at the Ché, it must be formally proposed to the collective, and a consensus must be reached. In addition, one 'core' collective member must take responsibility for the event. If you live in proximity to the Ché, the best way to propose your event is to drop by a collective meeting. The collective meets at 8:30pm every Thursday inside of the Ché.
If you are unable to attend a meeting, submit all the details of your proposal via our booking form. Include:
1. The approximate length of your event
2. The desired date(s)
3. Will this event be free? How much will it cost?
4. A clear description of the event
5. What it will require on the part of the Ché: PA System? Kitchen use?
6. Why you feel that this event is important
Someone from the collective should get back to you within a few days.
